Led by father-and-son duo John and Oscar Tacey, Ferns of Tasmania is supported by a small, skilled team that includes John’s other sons and a trusted crew of long-time family friends. As the only fully accredited and licensed salvage harvesters of tree ferns in Southern Tasmania, we combine generations of knowledge with sustainable practices to bring native flora to the world stage. What We Do?
At Ferns of Tasmania, we responsibly harvest, prepare, and export Dicksonia antarctica in line with strict environmental guidelines set by the governments of Tasmania and the Commonwealth of Australia.
