2. Products & Services

We specialise in the wholesale and retail sale of:

  • Dicksonia antarctica (Soft Tree Fern / Tasmanian Tree Fern)

  • Premium tree fern mulch

  • Related horticultural products (as listed from time to time)

All sales are subject to availability, suitability for freight or climate, and compliance with local import/export regulations.

3. Ordering & Payment

  • Orders may be placed via our website, email, or by phone.

  • Full payment is required prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and may be subject to GST (where applicable).

  • No third-party payment gateway is currently used — we accept direct payment via invoice.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship domestically within Australia and internationally, where permitted.

  • Shipping is typically by refrigerated 20ft or 40ft containers for bulk orders.

  • Delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, customs, or freight issues.

  • Title and risk in goods pass to the customer upon dispatch.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your country allows the import of the goods ordered.

5. International Customers

  • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with your local customs, quarantine, and biosecurity laws.

  • Ferns of Tasmania is not liable for items held, destroyed, or delayed by international authorities.

  • Export documents, declarations, and phytosanitary certifications can be arranged upon request.

6. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Due to the living nature of our core products, we generally do not offer returns or refunds except where:

  • A product is proven to be defective on arrival;

  • A replacement or refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law.

You must notify us of any issue within 48 hours of receipt and provide photographic evidence. We reserve the right to assess claims on a case-by-case basis.

7. Care and Handling

It is your responsibility to ensure the appropriate handling, planting, and maintenance of live plants upon arrival. We provide care instructions, but local conditions vary and may affect outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including images, logos, copy, and product descriptions — is the property of Ferns of Tasmania Pty Ltd or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, including:

  • Engaging in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful conduct;

  • Distributing malicious code or disrupting our services;

  • Violating intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse is suspected.
